Apr 2, 2024 · Colby is in Waterville, also a working class town farther north and an hour from the coast and the mountains, and is removed a mile or so from the town (though the College runs shuttles to town, and is investing heavily in it - new hotel, new arts center, etc.). We were pleasantly surprised by Waterville when we visited.
Dec 16, 2016 · Colby is teaching me the skills that are crucial for success. In fact we were not even planning to visit Bates figuring that why did she need to visit three schools in Maine. Current, barring results from re-visits, the order of the three is probably Bates, Bowdoin and Colby.
Mar 31, 2009 · <p>Waterville itself offers little but college social life revolves around the campus and most people seem to have a really good time. Most also do study abroad. Even if they don’t go for a year or even a semester, many leave campus during Jan Plan–a particularly good idea for those who hate winter, but those people probably shouldn’t be at Colby at all.

Jan 21, 2024 · My son has recently expressed interest in Colby College as a recruited track and field and cross country middle distance and long distance runner for the fall 2025 season. Looking for general feedback on student life, quality of the food, residence halls and general culture. Basically all of the things! Any feedback is greatly appreciated! We live in Ohio and he is also looking into Denison.(He loves the winter and being outdoors so weather is not a concern.)
