  2. Aug 1, 2022 · I used Codecademy several years ago and thought it was really good. But I went back to check it this past years and got the feeling they haven't been doing much with the site since then. Also the python 3 course is (or atleast was) behind a paywall, and you probably don't want to bother learning python 2 at this point. 7.

  3. Apr 28, 2021 · I’m relatively new to programming (approx 5 months). I did a little of a free codecademy JavaScript course and I liked it yet I get everyone’s complaint about codecademy, which seems universal. In reality nobody is going to learn with only one resource, there will be work outside of whatever program of learning you will do, be it codeacademy, a bootcamp, or a CS course at a university. Codeacademy is a good resource starting out on learning anything new in regards to programming.

  9. Mar 29, 2018 · I've been learning Python across both Codecademy and Codeschool for about a week now and I'm trying to decide if I want to upgrade and pay for more courses. Codecademy doesn't feel interactive enough for me personally. Codeschool is awesome but it's $30 a month and I believe that's in USD but I live in New Zealand so it'll be close to $50 for ...

  10. Jul 22, 2015 · Codecademy doesn't teach you the way a biologist teaches another biologist. It teaches you like a biologist talking to a lay audience.
