Close the Personalization window. Your Desktop should turn black without showing any wallpaper on the screen. Download the wallpaper again. Save it on C: Set it as wallpaper directly from Personalize > Browse (instead of Right Click on image > Set as desktop background) Now in Personalize screen, the correct wallpaper is showed (instead of a black screen), and the issue didn't happen yet for one hour.
Aug 31, 2019 · Replied on August 31, 2019. Report abuse. Hi Karen. Open the Settings App. Go to Personalization - Colors. Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom. Set Windows Mode to Dark. Set App Mode to Light. Then in the Settings App, go to Home - Ease of Access - High Contrast.
