  2. May 25, 2017 · Ben. When creating the arrow, we can hold Shift key to set the line horizontally or vertically. When we try to edit the arrow, as Doug said that, please set the Shape Width to adjust it. We cannot adjust the arrow line horizontally or vertically by moving one end, it does skip a little degree.

The code point is “U+21CB”; the HTML entity’s name is “⇋”. Cambria Math includes such a character.

I have selected the box in the "preferences" which elects "smart quotation marks," but when I hit the quotation mark key (shift '), I get the double-arrow instead (>>, except the two arrows are one character, nestled up together). I am using Times New Roman font. I can't find that character anywhere, let alone find out how to turn it off.

You can't change the outline level of Word's built-in heading styles, so you'll need to create user-defined heading styles with an outline level of Body Text.
