Have you all seen the new legislation that has come in to force from 1st October 2023. I somewhat naively thought it would be reasonable and achievable actions that needed to tale place in order to comply. This a not the case at all.

Jun 26, 2021 · Airbnb is a booking platform, do not expect more. As a host you need to be carefull in selecting the right guests and also act yourself when things go occasionally wrong. It is also a learning curve which eventually brings yourself in the optimal flow of 'professional" hosting, which i still enjoy to do.

Jul 10, 2020 · Airbnb Ireland is a UC, (not an LLC as I thought earlier - different country!) and all Airbnb hosts outside of the US and China transact through Airbnb Ireland UC. The EU ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform only applies to EU hosts obviously, (and not China) and UK hosts can use this resolution until Jan 1 2021 because of us leaving the EU.

Jul 31, 2019 · She is trespassing. Perhaps send the terms to your guest via the message system, then contact Airbnb to start charging her for the overstay and to begin contacting her to get out. As also suggested, change the locks when she leaves for the day. If she threatens you with legal action, tell her to get busy filing a suit.
