Guidance. We offer a vast array of services to students of WHS, not limited to just choosing classes. The goal of the counselors at WHS is to help students achieve their greatest potential. Professionals in our department are available to listen, understand, provide a safe environment, care, and help change lives.
Reasons to call the Attendance Office: Report an Absence (illness, doctor appointment, dentist/ortho appointment, Court Appearance, Probation Appointment, Immigration Appointment, Funeral, College Visit, Extracurricular Activity, Pre-Arranged Absence) Student needs to leave the school for an appointment.
Skyward Student Information System. We are pleased to offer Skyward Family Access to our families. Skyward is our student information system, which is on a secure server that families can access with a unique login and password. If you have not been issued login information, please contact your child's school.
Washington High School offers 12 Advanced Placement courses, more than any other local school district. AP courses offer a challenging, academically rigorous academic experience to earn college credit and demonstrate readiness for college level coursework.
5th-grade students explore band with Music Exploration, and students can then choose to join band in 6th grade. At WHS, students can participate in the Golden Pride Marching Band, Washington Winds, Indoor Percussion, & ISSMA Solo & Ensemble. Read More.
