So I’m recently new to the Anime community and having only watched things like Sword Art Online , One Punch Man, and I’ve recently started watching Naruto. Point being, I came across Violet Evergarden just browsing through Netflix and at first glance I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it. So I skipped it.

Jul 4, 2018 · Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece. Overall, Violet Evergarden captures human emotion so brilliantly with a simple concept that some things are better expressed in the written form of letters. This OVA is so well done, be sure to watch the OVA episode between episodes 4 and 5, or it will seem like Violet has grown a ton with little context.
Dec 8, 2021 · Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece, but if you only like shonen you probably won’t like it. It’s deeply moving and the movies are a must watch also. 10/10 would be a plausible rating for it. I think you'd find it boring if you compare it with MHA. Qualitywise, I think Violet is far better, but its a drama.
