Earlier this year, Troy Baker left Retro Replay due to creative differences, the two seemingly had differing visions for the future of Retro Replay. Then, during an Instagram Q&A shortly afterwards, someone asked Troy...

  2. Dec 2, 2019 · The cast seems very random but the first episode is very promising. Looks like it's not purely gaming but you'd think that would be a focus given the members. Currently doesn't have a name and only on YT: Troy Baker's podcast voice is pure silk.

  3. Jan 21, 2024 · Like this. How the fuck did this happen? That's Delsin Rowe in Infamous: Second Son, by the way.

  4. Jan 14, 2022 · I think it's completely fair to say Troy Baker is a ginormous douchebag grifter but he's also really talented voice actor I mean this in the sense that we can all be cognizant of his douchery but also recognize he's likely going to keep working in the industry at a high level and doing good work at that, so this is one of those things where separating the art from the artist is very much necessary, and I'm not entirely sure what you want us to do with this info.

  8. Feb 19, 2020 · Troy Baker is in literally every game, but I put the blame mostly on game studios who don't try to reach out to more people, give me someone like Tommie Earl Jenkins from Death Stranding or people from the cast of overwatch, acting in a video game is generally looked down upon but when you got stuff like GOW19 and Death stranding it is clear that you can give a powerful performance even in a video game.

  9. Jun 28, 2020 · Troy baker just seems like a generally awesome dude who is supremely talented. Recency bias probably, but damn is his Joel amazing. Seeing him talk about the character on the recent spoiler cast gave me a deeper appreciation on how much thought and love went into his performance. Excellent.

  10. Feb 19, 2020 · Troy Baker seems to take himself way too seriously. Dude was crying during that TLOU1 playthrough with Nolan North. Maybe he's different IRL, but the media makes him come across as very self-important. Maybe the voice acting talent pool is so limited because there aren't many entry points?
