As regards "by tomorrow" I have observed the following distinction: If I say "Please transfer your money to me by tomorrow", I mean before the end of business today. If I say "I will transfer my money to you by tomorrow", I mean I will transfer the money sometime before midnight tomorrow night. Or before sometime in the morning day after tomorrow.

For instance, if you've been working all night with a colleague, or studying with a fellow student, and it is now 1 AM and you are both bleary-eyed, it is entirely normal to say, "Oh man, I'm beat. I'll see you tomorrow." where "tomorrow" in this case means "later today".

Sep 8, 2015 · 'Night' is defined as: "The period of time between 'Evening' and 'Dawn' ". People tend to get confused at the difference between the terms 'DAY' and 'DATE'. If it is Monday and it becomes 2 a.m., since the light of the sun is no longer visible in the sky then that is the 'Night-of-the-previous-day", so it is 'Monday-Night'.
