And yes, the Prowler has not been in production for well over a decade, the last year was badged Chrysler when Plymouth was dumped as a brand. Truthfully, and I've been here since 2002, one of the older members here, this is the first time I have ever heard of an issue.

Nov 16, 2020 · The Plymouth Prowler had an aluminum body, with a 3.5 liter V6 engine (214 hp) from the LHS coupled to a 42LE four-speed automatic transmission. The engine was fitted with stainless steel exhaust manifolds. The front suspension used upper and lower control arms with pushrods; in back, an independent double-wishbone suspension was used.

Cruiser. i would take the Prowler over the very Spartan and unsafe Panoz lol. jimboy and tlc.
A stock V6 prowler V6 is rated at 253 hp @ 6400 rpm and 255 lb-ft of torque @ 3950 rpm. I'm putting in a 6.1 srt hemi with 425hp at 6000rpm and 420 ft lb torque at 4800, as well as intake mods. A stock Prowler may do 170 hp to wheels; I got 196 hp on the dyno with headers, intake, etc.
May 31, 2023 · Plymouth Prowler 2000 Electrical Issue. Hello, so I'm working on my 2000 Plymouth Prowler that has no start and no crank. I don't work on Plymouth/Chrysler vehicles and I'm lost. On key on the car's dash has no lights other than check gauges, 0KM on the odometer and security light. PNDR is not light up and no other lights.
The Prowler followed a "Neon Lite" project in the mid-1990s and an aluminum composite H-body in the late 1980s. The Neon Lite was expensive, but only three quarters the weight of a standard Neon. The Prowler was made of a high-strength aluminum alloy, as used in airplanes and boats, to resist degradation, noise, and oxidation.

Apr 14, 2022 · Connect to the vehicle diagnostic port and find any trouble codes and view key vehicle data information to determine why the engine will not start and run. The diagnostic port is typically under the driver side of the dash. See attached image. Tony Goertz at ProwlerOnline is offering a replacement PCM.
