The Last Mile’s Audio and Video Production Program is a year-long program that comprises two 6-month courses: Digital Audio Production (DAP) and Video Editing and Post-Production (VEP). In the AVP Program, students develop the core skills necessary to secure an apprenticeship in the audio, digital video, and multimedia industries.
The Last Mile technical education and training stops the cycle of incarceration. It also reduces recidivism, lowers the level of taxpayer money spent on incarceration, and produces exceptional employees.
The Last Mile is the first U.S. prison education program of its kind. Currently, our two flagship programs, web development training and audio/video production training, are offered in 16 facilities in eight states.
