Apr 21, 2024 · Sun has had comparatively decent success with Sun Bangla and Sun Marathi so far — even if a far cry from the record-breaking achievements that Star Pravah has made in the Marathi GEC sector — and what was historically perceived as a South Indian broadcaster has steadily made inroads in West Bengal and Maharashtra with these two channels, which now have the added advantage of an HD feed.
Jan 6, 2023 · Hope they reveal the launch date of Sun Neo (HD), Sun Bangla HD and Sun Marathi HD soon. It would have been nice if they were announced along with the new RIO like Disney Star, but hopefully it will still take place in the coming months. Unfortunately, Sun News HD, Udaya Movies HD and Surya Movies HD seem to be either cancelled or postponed.
