However that doesn't apply to consoles, as Sky see them as essentially secondary devices as they are connected to TVs, hence the reason whole home is required now that the free Sky go extra add-on doesn't exist for Sky VIPs. Apr 4, 2024 · You'll still be able to receive them, in SD, in a Sky+HD box, so you won't be affected by this change, and you were advised correctly. The other,thing Sky have recently announced is that there won't be any further software updates to Sky+HD boxes. In fact, there hasn't been an update anyway for well over a year.
Aug 29, 2024 · I have sky yahoo email on my phone but recently my phone screen smashed so couldn't see emails. I logged in on my laptop and it needed a sky verification code which is sent to my phone but couldn't see my phone. How can I bypass this as I was going round and round in circles and just could not access my emails until my phone screen was fixed.

Feb 1, 2023 · I called Sky and they advised accounts should be activated automatically without having to enter in an activation code and that this is a 'known problem'. A support ticket was raised and I was meant to be hearing back from Sky within 72 hours (which is today). Fingers crossed the problem gets rectified.

Jul 14, 2024 · I spoke to Sky today about the issue. They did ask me to update the software (already tried that) but then also to refresh the Apps. This is done by going to settings in the menu. Ensure the word 'settings' is highlighted and then pressing 0.0.1. on the remote and then select. At the bottom of the new menu is' Apps'.
