Synopsis. Young mother of two Jessica Nash is in the midst of fixing up the closet of her late grandmother's house (that she inherited) so that she can sell it and move. However, she accidentally gets stuck. She tries to get her young daughter Lainey to help her get out, but Lainey is unable to bring her the key.
Not only Shut In does not preach, but it is a very gripping movie in itself. Could have released this in theaters and made some good money. 56 out of 96 found this helpful.
The movie received terrible reviews from critics and audiences and was a commercial dud upon release. Rightly so because Shut In is an absolute mess of a movie and probably one of the worst mainstream horror films of the 2010s.
