All Severn sixth-graders take Physical Education (PE) classes, where they are introduced to the sports that are available to them in their second and third years in Middle School. Physical Education classes are also offered to seventh- and eighth-graders during the winter and spring seasons.
Sep 4, 2024 · Severn School celebrated the opening of its 111 th school year during Convocation on August 30. The entire school community comes together for this annual assembly where new students and faculty are welcomed, faculty and staff anniversaries are acknowledged, and the tone is set for the 2024-25 school year.

Families are an integral part of the Severn School community. Once you are Admirals, you can expect a warm welcome to our active parent network. Additionally, all enrolled families automatically receive membership in our Admirals Parents' Association, with no membership fee.
