Scorn is an English electronic music project. The group was formed in the early 1990s as a project of former Napalm Death members Mick Harris and Nic Bullen. Bullen left the group in 1995, and the project continued on an essentially solo project for Harris until 1997 when it was stopped.
In their early years Scorn was often associated with industrial and experimental music. After the departure of Nik Bullen in April 1995, Scorn became a solo project of Mick Harris, and the music mostly offers minimalist beats with deep bass lines, often resembling dub and trip-hop in structure.
Combining the signature soundscapes of Scorn with tartareous textures, the newest album “The Only Place” reaches a psychedelic groove, based on what Harris calls “Pushing an original idea further” with his own shades of light and dark and celestial electricity of what SCORN is.
