  6. The Library of SIES College was inaugurated by Shri Y.B. Chavan – Chief Minister of Maharashtra State on 19th July, 1960 and a princely sum of Rs. 35,000/- was spent on the purchase of books and periodicals for the academic year of 1960-1961. 1,100 students made use of the library facilities and approximately 50 books were issued daily.
