Richard improvises comedy live on stage every Sunday as one of The Comedy Store Players with Josie Lawrence, Neil Mullarkey, Lee Simpson, Ruth Bratt and a guest musician. He improvised stories with Sylvester McCoy on Jackanory (BBC1) and he was the narrator for the series Alex Polizzi - My Hotel Nightmare on Channel 5.
Richard Vranch joined the Comedy Store Players in 1986. He also performs stand-up comedy and his voice can be heard on adverts and documentaries. Richard wrote and performed a double-act with Tony Slattery, and he was the male member of feminist cabaret group The Milles. He has appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe since 1979.
