Jul 29, 2018 · Revolut advertises their 24/7 customer service to premium users (which I have signed up for), yet, I don’t believe it at all. The truth is, Rita is great for certain questions. Navigating the app, for instance, maybe even more difficult ones like how to send money via bank transfer.
As Revolut is good until become bad, you will receive an answer like that: As you might be aware, the trading service is not provided by an investment entity authorized in the EU which means that you do not have the benefit of any EU regulatory protections or investor compensation schemes.
Aug 13, 2023 · Yes x2. I live for it, great rates, slick app, budgeting is good, never had an issue in almost 4 years. Yeah, although exchange rate on revolut sucks at the moment somehow. Even wise is better with all its fees. I honestly can only speak for myself I have had a revolut account eight years now and never had a problem.
Jul 27, 2021 · This is exactly my experience, Revolut is great and for many things but don't depend on it, because it isn't as reliable as my primary bank. Make advantage of Revolut but don't depend on it. It is standard practice to disable a card when you arrive in a new country and draw out the maximum amount.
I mainly use Revolut for three things: Very competitive exchange rates with no or low fees. Free ATM withdrawals while traveling in foreign countries (do the exchange before withdrawal) Sending money in foreign currency to bank accounts abroad. This works very well for me and I’ve been a happy customer for years.
All of this can be precisely calculated depending on what exactly you do with Revolut. Ultra is generally useless unless you are a frequent flyer and want to get to DragonFly lounges for free or you store in the Savings account more than 120 000 USD in which case you will generate more revenue per month with Ultra due to lower Revolut fees with this plan (of course after deducting the price for the plan itself from your revenue).
Sep 15, 2023 · Better app (although N26‘s isn‘t bad), you can buy stock in one click, send payments to friends a bit faster. N26 Metal is slightly different from Revolut Metal. I found N26‘s offer more useful — they have lots of travel insurances that I wanted to get after a myriad lost luggage & delayed flight cases last year.
Revolut is clearly using your phone stats as a proxy for the consumption of the allowance on their SIM as opposed to what is actually used via their service. In short, the service is okay but, I would advise anyone considering using the service to check the list of countries served and not just assume that 'Global' actually means global.

Dec 13, 2021 · They must order a physical Revolut card. (£4.99 delivery fee is applicable in the UK. Prices vary by country.) They must do 3 separate purchases of a minimum £5 each.
