Rajesh Hamal (Nepali: राजेश हमाल [raˈdzes ɦʌˈmal] ⓘ; born 9 June 1964 [1]) is a Nepalese, International film actor and a television host. He is a popular actor in Nepali cinema and is often called " MahaNayak " (Nepali translation of "The Greatest Actor") in Nepal.
He is a gold medalist in English Literature. In 1985, he worked as a model for a fashion magazine named Fashion Net. In 1986, he walked the ramp in Kathmandu and New Delhi. Initially, his parents did not support him for his acting decision because, at that time, it was considered a low-class profession and he was from an elite background.
