Rajinder Krishan Duggal (6 June 1919 – 23 September 1987) also credited as Rajendra Krishan, was an Indian poet, lyricist and screenwriter. [1] [2] His poems and lyrics were in the Urdu language.

Born in Jalalput Jattan, Gujrat district (now in Pakistan), he moved to Mumbai in the mid 1940s to become a screenwriter. His debut as a screenwriter and lyricist was for the film "Janta" (1947) and his hit came a year later for "Aaj Ki Raat" (1948).
