Jul 17, 2020 · Now you have an image you can copy pixel-by-pixel into Minecraft. This is my preferred way of doing things as well. Paint has some problems, for example you can't make a pixel perfect symmetrical circle using the circle tool if it is beyond a certain size, but you can work around them by copying the parts that work and pasting them in and rotating/flipping them to make it work.

When editing the font for a texture pack, it is advisable to increase the size of the font file (i.e. create an HD font) so that there is more pixel space available for smoother and/or more detailed letters.

Because I had this issue when I was making a pack and fixed it by changing one of my textures to make its lengths powers of 2. If you're having this issue try either turning off your texture packs or if you really want to keep them you could check the pixel lengths of each texture and make sure they're all powers of 2.
When I search up "pixel format not accelerated" I get sent to the Minecraft Hopper page entailing that a driver issue is the cause, and also lists "Graphics drivers are outdated" and "Invalid memory allocation" (I'll come back to these later) as causes to the issue the OP (acronym used on forums for "original post[er]") was encountering. When you look things up you generally don't look for a cause, you look for a solution -- those solutions may not apply to everyone and you will never know ...
