Mar 21, 2023 · I didn’t really have strong feelings about Pamela Sue Martin one way or the other beforehand (I remember liking her sauciness in the episodes of “Dynasty” I’d seen, and thought she had a strong debut in “To Find a Man”), but after watching the interview and Q&A, I ended up not liking her as much as I wanted to.

Mar 7, 2023 · This one is rather underrated, I enjoyed the pace. The prison scenes with Tiny Alice were brutal. Pamela was good in this and had quite the ark from naive farm girl to mercy killer. She looked painfully skinny in some scenes, I wonder if some of her reasons for leaving Hollywood were due to body image.

Oct 9, 2023 · I like Pamela Sue Martin and Valerie Harper, so I agree with OP. Didn’t she discuss, at some point, the fact that she was losing her hair? From what I remember, PSM really didn’t like the industry or Hollywood lifestyle, as R25 said. She really was great as Fallon (and as Nancy Drew). Emma Samms was so miscast.

Sep 20, 2024 · Seitdem nahm Pamela Sue Martin nur noch kleine Filmrollen an und zog sich mehr und mehr aus der Öffentlichkeit zurück. Ihre letzte größere Rolle hatte sie 1990 in dem Film "A cry in the wild". Mit 30 kaufte sich die Schauspielerin ein Haus auf dem Land, wo sie ihren Sohn großzog, der aus der Ehe mit ihrem nunmehr dritten Ehemann hervorgegangen war.
