With more than 365 days in space, Fincke is the third in the list of most experienced American astronauts. He holds the record, along with cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, for International Space Station-based spacewalks: he has logged 26 hours on six spacewalks wearing the Russian Orlan spacesuit.
