Sep 25, 2024 · He passed away 26 Sep 1999. A very experienced young (to young) pilot. The son of Ray Hanna also ex RAF. They had set up the Old Flying Machine Company (OFMC) at Duxford, together just short of 2 decades before his untimely death. If there is any consolation here, he died doing something he really loved. RIP Mark. H.

As the accident took place outside the UK the investigation will undertaken by in this case the Spanish equivalent of the CAA and I would imagine the Spanish AF would have some involvement, they being the last major operator of the type in service.
