   Does the Julie part work?

   • Many complained that the Julie part doesn't work, and while certainly not as involving or resonant as Julia, it still contains many wonderful moments. Stanley Tucci is magnificent as Child's husband and deserved a lot more attention and respect than he got. Directed by the late Nora Ephron, this will always remain to me her crowning achievement.

Deborah Ross The Spectator [Amy Adams'] half of the film plays like a below-par rom-com, so here's the question: is the good half good enough? Probably, yes, but then I would watch Meryl rearranging a closet.
