James Acaster... I'll be honest I'm not much of a fan of his stand up (I'm probably too old) and was a bit dubious about him being in the movie. Something that is kinda funny is that I'm pretty sure he didn't even finish the set he came with the way it was written because he was riffing with the audience and it was very silly and fun. Jun 6, 2022 · There goes Ed Gamble, I must remember to thank him. I’d like to think Gervais would find James’s edgy comics bit funny, like (I assume) we all do. Yeah, thats kind of what I’m curious about, because I agree that I think that, if asked, he would say he thought it was funny and he agreed with the sentiment.
Feb 8, 2022 · James Acaster's Bake Off Story. Such a great comedian, this had me in stitches! This explains a lot. He was so funny on stand up to cancer bakeoff but yes, he seemed especially flustered! Here's an excellent podcast where James really goes in depth on this story, the backstory and the aftermath, as well as his broader comedy process.
