Jun 20, 2023 · Hello, I had the same problem on my Ioniq. After a long time of seeking the origin of the problem, i've foud a solution. You have to remove the two rear wheels (one by one) and disconect the connector plug of the electric parking break. put a good quantity of "WD40) inside and reconnect the plug.
Oct 21, 2023 · Ioniq 5 stolen in 20 seconds! Hi all just came across across a worrying story posted online today about how easy it is for theives to steal ioniq 5's. It also mentioned in another article it's the second most stolen car of 2023. Here is the article I spent £50k on my flash Hyundai EV… and it was stolen in FIVE SECONDS.
Aug 1, 2020 · My 2020 Ioniq included the AutoLink Premium device. Worked OK but I found the iPhone app too irritating to use, then data stopped updating. I waited for an app update to fix the bugs, which eventually came (now v 1.2.7) then had to hassle to get the account reset (and lost data history from the months it was down) because the issue was at the server end.

Aug 29, 2023 · Since it is red and not orange as the common “check EV system” fault with the triangle, I think it’s more serious, but it might be that the EV6 and Ioniq 6 have those icons and not the orange one. The Story : I got this Monday morning, right after starting the car. Got to the dealer Monday evening, but they were unable to find what was wrong.
Aug 4, 2021 · The batteries for the Ioniq 5 are sourced from SK Innovation and the individual cells are NCM811 with nominal voltage of 3.63V. 72.6kWh battery: Arrangement of 180s2p (180 groups of cells in series, each group contains 2 cells in parallel, total number of cells: 360). Battery nominal voltage: 3.63x180=653V.

Sep 8, 2023 · We have 2017 ioniq hybrid premium SE which we have owned since 2019, it is still under 50k miles and has been a great family car for us. On starting one morning recently, it lit up with the check engine light, shortly followed by the HEV! warning light, shortly again followed by the green car/arrow light flashing and power was significantly reduced with no contribution from the electric motor.

Last night as I was heading for bed, I looked in the garage and there was a bright orange light on the left side of the center dash speaker grill. Nothing on the dash screen was showing, I opened the door and no change. As I walked around the car it went out.
Dec 5, 2023 · A level 1 charger adds roughly 5.5 miles per hour of charging. So in a typical week if she starts w/ the car charged to 80% she has roughly 240 miles of range. She can get 40 miles of range plugging it in overnight; it's plenty. There are quite a few nights where she doesn't plug it in at all.
