Vaults themselves are in the Counting House, the central bank of Baldurs Gate. Located at the very southern part of Baldurs Gate. Southwest from Sorcerous Sundries. Entering vault requires the Vault pass. You get this from following the Underduke quest and talking to the teller at entrance.

Apr 3, 2015 · Security measures. Outside of the guards, it's probably a valid idea that the bank has a few magical countermeasures. Obviously if the bank is robbed a lot, people won't deposit there, so consider your bank's reputation when you design security measures. Robbing a bank should be hard and the players should have the chance to fail. The loot.
