Vishnu (/ ˈ v ɪ ʃ n uː /; Sanskrit: विष्णु, lit. 'All Pervasive', IAST: Viṣṇu, pronounced), also known as Narayana and Hari, is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the supreme being within Vaishnavism, one of the major traditions within contemporary Hinduism. [13] [14]
Hari (Sanskrit: हरि) is among the primary epithets of the Hindu preserver deity Vishnu, meaning 'the one who takes away' (sins). [1] . It refers to the one who removes darkness and illusion, the one who removes all obstacles to spiritual progress.

- Moola Vishnu Mantra. ॐ नमो नारायण ।। Om Namo Narayanaya।। The mantra is a salutation to Lord Vishnu, it means, “I bow before Almighty”. The mantra is believed to take one to Vaikuntha to spend his blissful afterlife.
