Nov 21, 2021 · Q/ Your thoughts about Justice Chandru? A/I first met Chandru sir much before the film—through Tha. Se. Gnanavel, director of Jai Bhim. We were told that he was a disruptor and a changemaker. We also got to know that he never charged fees for human rights cases.
Chandru was known for fighting against caste discrimination and for the rights of backward communities without even charging a single rupee as fees. He was made an Additional Judge of the High Court on July 31, 2006, and was made a permanent Judge on November 9, 2009.
