Mar 2, 2023 · I do really dislike the new Media Player app which has merged Movies&TV and Groove Music. Is there any way to get back the old Groove Music player separetely from the new Media Player ? The interface was way much better and I don't need Media Player to play videos.

If your purchased music was downloaded, you’ll still be able to listen to it. When Microsoft announced the discontinuation of the Groove Music Pass streaming service on October 2, 2017, they notified customers that Groove Music Pass content would be available to move to Spotify until January 31, 2018.
Nov 6, 2015 · Follow the below steps. Uninstall the App: 1. Press Windows key and type Powershell in search, right click on it and Open as administrator . 2. Type the following command: Get-AppxPackage *zunemusic* | Remove-AppxPackage. Reinstall the App from: Groove Music. Hope the above information is helpful.
You may also want to try re-registering the app using PowerShell and see if that helps. Press Windows + X keys together and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin). Restart the PC. If the issue persists, try creating a new user account and see if you are able to access the applications.
