Golden Boy is a manga by Tatsuya Egawa about Kintaro Oe, a freeter who travels around Japan and learns various skills and meets women. The manga was adapted into an OVA series and has a sequel, Golden Boy II.
Ooe Kintarou, age 25, dropped out of the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law. However, he left school voluntarily after completing all courses. Since then, he has worked in a number of different jobs and is currently studying life! At first glance, he appears to be a useless, good-natured, screw-up.
