George Augustus Frederick FitzClarence, 1st Earl of Munster GCH PC FRS FRAS (29 January 1794 – 20 March 1842), was an English peer and soldier.
He was the son of Brigadier General Charles FitzClarence, VC (8 May 1865 – 12 November 1914), son of Captain the Hon. George FitzClarence, third son of the first earl. On the death of his son, the seventh earl, in 2000, the titles became extinct.
Fitzclarence, George Augustus Frederick, 1st Earl of Munster (1794 -1842) George FitzClarence was the eldest son of William, Duke of Clarence, afterwards William IV, and the actress Dorothea Jordan. He was educated at the Royal Military College, Marlow 1807, and was commissioned as a Cornet in the Prince of Wales Regiment of Hussars 1808.

FITZCLARENCE, GEORGE AUGUSTUS FREDERICK, first Earl of Munster (1794–1842), major-general, president of the Royal Asiatic Society of London, the eldest of the numerous children of the Duke of Clarence, afterwards William IV, by Mrs. Jordan (1762?-1816) [q. v.], was born in 1794.
