May 14, 2022 · Also is the directors cut the actual "director's cut" or just an extended edition that isn't Gasper's intended vision. Similar to how Alien extend edition is not the true vision for the film. Director’s cut of ETV Is the true directors cut. Gaspar literally just took a whole reel out of the theatrical movie to save time.
Jul 22, 2020 · Am planning on watching it and saw that the run time on the directors cut is almost 3h long. I have only seen the directors cut, which I think most people prefer. And honestly I will probably stick with that one once I re-watch it. But I'd recommend watching the normal first, just to see if you're into it.
