If so, you have lived your entire life during “the last days” of the present system of things. ( 2 Tim. 3:1 ) All of us have heard about the events that Jesus foretold for this time. These include wars, food shortages, earthquakes, pestilences, an increasing of lawlessness, and the persecution of Jehovah’s people.
Will Armageddon be the end of the world? It will not be the end of our planet, since the earth is mankind’s eternal home. (Psalm 37:29; 96:10; Ecclesiastes 1:4) Rather than destroying humanity, Armageddon actually saves it, because “a great crowd” of God’s servants will survive. —Revelation 7: 9, 14; Psalm 37:34.
May 1, 2015 · the end is not an epic, flaming destruction of the earth. The Bible states: “[God] has established the earth on its foundations; it will not be moved from its place forever and ever.” ( Psalm 104:5 ) That scripture and others assure us that God will neither destroy the earth nor allow it to be destroyed —ever!
Yes, Satan knows that his system is nearing its end, so he is doing everything he can to turn humans against God before he and his world are put out of the way. ( Revelation 12:12; 20:1-3 ) How debased those spirit creatures are because they misused their free will!
