Egmondville is an unincorporated rural community in Huron East, Huron County, Ontario, Canada. [1][2] History. The community was founded in 1845 by Constant Van Egmond, the eldest son of Anthony Van Egmond and named in honour of his father.
The house was built in 1846 by Constance Van Egmond, the eldest son of Colonel Anthony Van Egmond. Generations of Van Egmonds lived there until 1949, at which time the house was sold and changed into apartments, housing military quarters for the local base.
