Ee. Ma. Yau. The film revolves around the death of Vavachan, a master mason, who comes home after a lapse of time, and suddenly meets with his death. Before his death, he shares with his son Eeshi, his desire to be buried decently. Eeshi readily promises him a grand burial.

As though to show there's more to him than jaw-dropping unbroken takes, Lijo goes to the other extreme. He opens Ee Ma Yau with a static camera. A funeral procession enters from one end of the screen, exits through the other.
