  2. Nov 17, 2016 · So, some years back, I remember watching an absolutely wonderful film called Joyeux Noel, which is apparently based on actual events during World War I (Namely, the Christmas Truce of 1914). I know that various specific elements are at least loosely based on real-life events (e.g. in the DVD extras, they talk about how some soldiers actually ...

  3. The movie was taking place a long time ago: maybe featuring vikings or romans (I know that is not precise at all). What I remember clearly is this: there were people that had been captured by a clan or a tribe and they were being killed by a very special method: the man was pushed in a gigantic tobogan and gaining a lot speed (the tobogan was ...

  4. Oct 12, 2017 · 14. In Blade Runner (1982) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017), the special police task force who hunt down and kill replicants are called Blade Runners, just like the movie title. While I'm sure it was Hollywooded up, is there such a move in acupuncture/martial arts that would be even close to being this disabilitating that ...

The end of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar ushered in the "Sixth World", with once-mythological beings (e.g. dragons) appearing and forms of magic suddenly emerging. Large numbers of humans have "Goblinized" into orks and trolls, while many ...

Mar 25, 2015 at 10:42. BTW, it could be argued that the security guards displayed a bit more common sense: at least Karen was on the floor and out of harms way when they shot ...

  9. Jun 5, 2018 · 1. At the end of Blade I, Whistler unambiguously committed suicide. The whole thing had a very dramatic tone to it. It is implied that he got tortured & bitten by the vampire attack squad right before. However, it's not really definite that he was bitten.

  10. Jun 4, 2020 · 5. In the original Blade Runner, I notice photographs really have significance for Replicants. Both for example Leon having photographs in his drawers when Deckard goes to investigate his apartment and Roy asking if he has his photos with him. Same goes for Rachael when she reflects upon Deckards various photos on his piano.
