Saint John Bosco, commonly known as Don Bosco, was an Italian Catholic priest who dedicated his life to the education of young boys. He was born at Becchi, near Turin, in Northern Italy, on 16th August 1815. Don Bosco was kept away from regular schooling because of many difficulties.
On 1st July 1978 it was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School and recognition was granted to the Higher Secondary Section by the Director of School Education in his proceedings, D.Dis.No.75466/W5/78 dt. 2.4.1979.
