David Michôd (/ ˈmɪʃoʊ / MISH-oh; [1] born 30 November 1972) is an Australian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor. [2][3][4] He is best known for directing the critically acclaimed crime drama Animal Kingdom (2010) and dystopian drama The Rover (2014). He also co-wrote Hesher (2010).
