The topography of the site primarily decided the design development of this 3000sqft residence in Calicut, Kerala, India. The plot had two distinct levels formed out of a previous excavation on a laterite valley. The form was conceived in such a way that excavation was kept minimum and all the existing trees were maintained to resist soil erosion.
