Carmen Pelaez is a Cuban American playwright, actor and filmmaker. Her work is usually inspired by her mercurial and surreal hometown, Miami. She is currently adapting her play, The Cuban Vote, into a screenplay as well as developing bilingual television series, Ventanita.
