So, I wanted to buy this book series (Three Dark Crowns) and just found Book Depository. So, I checked the prices and all 5 books cost around 15 euros less then on Amazon. Naturally, I went to check some reviews and a lot of them were pretty bad, saying the books either never arrived, were damaged and a few that said to not order from BD if you're outside of the UK.
The closest thing was a group called EX Book Depository Argentina, I requested authorization to join but I'm not sure if it's the same thing. Gracias! About Betterworld, I placed a test order so we'll see what happens, I'm struggling to get a tracking number that works with Correo Argentino (2 letters, 9 numbers, 2 letters).
94 votes, 119 comments. true. BOK5 & BOK10 works in Norway. What is most peculiar though is that I got the BOK5 discount sent to my email and when I visit their page that is one of the headers there. "5% discount for Norway" Asked one of my friends about it and he got the same discount.
May 29, 2023 · Now that Book Depository is kaput, I am having great difficulties finding a good site to buy my books from. Anyone have any suggestions? (Australian or international) Booktopia seems fine, but its prices and needing to pay shipping don’t always make it the economical option. Cheers!
Book Depository works very well, does what they promise, but is these days owned by Amazon. Wordery does all the same things Book Depository does, and is not owned by a major book retailer. Caevat: I am in the EU. It will be interesting to see how Brexit will affect all of this.
Dec 27, 2017 · Book depository isn't like Book Outlet or Thrift Books, they don't sell used books of varying conditions, only new. If you're worried about shipping damage, they mail the books in bubble envelopes or cardboard mailers usually.
Sep 14, 2021 · The page on book depository doesnt state anything useful, other than it was "dispatched" last aug 12. I live in the province (Quezon) so that might delay it but it'll really be useful if i could know where in the world it is just like how we can track packages on lazada, shopee, lbc, 2go, etc.

Based on my experience: Book depository Pros: 1- slightly cheaper that Blackwell's mostly by a dollar or two. 2- they always include bookmarks as much as the books your order. Meaning if you order to books you will get two bookmarks.
Sep 11, 2022 · My sister had a similar experience with book depository recently. Ang ginawa niya pina deliver niya yung replacement to a different address, and this time dumating na yung order niya. I think isa sa mga recent changes sa BD is may need na na bayaran na local shipping fee, when previously none.
