Nov 8, 2010 · Viking - Like power metal, a few bands crop up to popularity outside the metal community. Thrash - The Big 4 are fairly popular but thats about it. Groove - Nobody outside of metal knows much about Groove aside from Pantera. Death - Pretty obscure, but it gets exposure from bands like cannibal corpse.
I just got my guitar intonated to B standard, and I want to start learning stuff by bands tuned to that. What are some good bands to this?

Hi masters of Metal Archives! \m/\m/ In this occasion, I´m writing to appeal a band called ARAÑA from El Salvador; this band is made up of former members of a band that is already registered on this wonderful page, from the country of El Salvador; the band is ABORIGENES, practically when the Aborigenes band separated; Araña band emerged as a project that gave continuity to the extinct band; by the way there are many songs that are part of his setlist in concerts, and album.
Mar 1, 2009 · Disturbed is not listed as a Metal band in the Encyclopedia, however their music is clearly Metal, especially their recent albums Ten Thousand Fists and Indestructible. I think Disturbed should be added into the Encyclopedia because there is no legitimate reason why they should be kept out.
I'm looking for more bands like Mr. Bungle, Dog Fashion Disco, Tomahawk, Polkadot Cadaver, etc., with diverse vocal range, incorporation of multiple genres, catchy beats, and nice layering.
