First of all, after the breakup scene (which was absolutely BRUTAL, by the way, thanks Adele and Lea), the movie doesn't really do a good job emphasizing the women's lives post-breakup, opting for an exposition dump (telling rather than showing), and then Adele's arc just is left unfinished.
