Hello all, Since I installed the new 2022 EA app. yesterday to replace Origin for Windows 10, my BF4 game will not start anymore after the UAC authorization. The UAC will come back in a loop to ask for the authorization again and again and the new app keeps relaunching. With Origin BF4, it would launch after the first UAC authorization.
Head to the Battlefield 4 installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 by default). Open the _Installer folder. Inside it, open the Punkbuster folder. Open the redist folder. Find and run pbsvc.exe to update or repair Punkbuster. I have tried everything.
Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field. In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available. Click Ok at the bottom of the window. Open the Origin client and try installing again (click Install on the game you want).
Sep 11, 2024 · 2 weeks ago - last edited 2 weeks ago. On my ps5 when I try to open battlefield 4, my screen is stuck on the initial title screen, saying connecting. The same day the issue started I opened battlefield 4 on my pc for the first time, which is running completely fine. I’m thinking this may somehow have caused the issue.
2- Open Punk Buster folder. 3- Click on the PB setup and it will open. 4-Add your BF4 game to punk buster its at the top of Punk Buster. 5-Then update punk buster again at the top of Punk Buster. Reboot PC test BF4 If this fails to fix it then I will post next steps to try and fix it. Reply.
