Baptism with fire. John the Baptist said to his listeners: “That one [Jesus] will baptize you with holy spirit and with fire. His winnowing shovel is in his hand, and he will clean up his threshing floor completely and will gather his wheat into the storehouse, but the chaff he will burn up with fire that cannot be put out.”
Baptism shows that you have abandoned your former way of life and have begun a new life doing God’s will. You need to be baptized to serve Jehovah. Baptism shows others that you want to serve God. You must be completely immersed, or dipped, under water, as Jesus was.
