Ayo Edebiri (/ ˈaɪoʊ əˈdɛbəri / Eye-oh ə-DEB-ər-ee; [1] born October 3, 1995) is an American actress, comedian, and television writer. Since 2022 she has played chef Sydney Adamu in the comedy-drama series The Bear and won a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award for the role.
