The URL:Mal, is usually an indication that either the domain name or the IP address it is linked to is blacklisted. It is possible if it is being redirected to an infected site (given essexboy's post and image) or there are multiple domain names associated with the IP address and some of them are infected, resulting the IP being blacklisted.

When it comes to Bank mode - we're having a problem with 32bit operation systems, it's still possible to run the Bank mode from Antivirus (right click for tray icon or in menu).

Jul 4, 2020 · I also questioned the name of Avast new "relatively new, micro-update system." Does leave one wondering why name an Avast .exe after known malware. As Asyn has stated, if it's signed by Avast then ok.

Did a Repair just in case deleting that folder broke anything. Still curious how it got there and I guess we'll see if it re-appears in the future.

Right click on the avast tray icon, select Virus Chest.
Aug 29, 2021 · Avast keeps blocking me from accessing a site as it's flagged as a "phishing" site. Happened before on this same site and was indeed a false flag and Avast corrected it earlier. In any case I know the developer and they already contacted Avast to rectify it, etc. which may take time (last time it also took a while and Avast wrote an apology ...
